Paul speaks about how God is the perfect Father. The Father wants such good things for us but He doesn't lay it all out on us at one time, He's going to be in relationship with us as we journey on in life. In healthy relationship you want to change because you are loved. God is waiting for us to come to ur senses to see how good He really is.
